Our goal is to raise $1,000 in donations. With every $1 donated,  the Food Bank is able to distribute the equivalent of four meals through their agency network or Food Bank programs.

This year, the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank is also donating food to local wildfire victims in Southern California that have been affected by the Woosley and Hill fires.

By holding our food drive online, Sim will save the Food Bank time and resources that are incurred on physical food drives. Plus, your donations will help them purchase the most needed food items, like canned tuna, peanut butter, canned fruits and vegetables and cereals.

For 45 years, the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank has been mobilizing resources to fight hunger in our community. They distributed 68 million pounds of nutritious food in 2017 – the equivalent of 57 million meals – to 300,000 clients each month in L.A. County.

One in seven people in Los Angeles County experiences food insecurity. L.A. households make choices each month between paying for food and utilities, transportation, housing or medicine and medical care. The many faces of hunger in our community include the most vulnerable such as children and seniors.
